Why not book a cheap flight to our newest destination, Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean. Located to the south west of Italy, Sicily is only a few miles from the toe of the famous Italian boot. Steeped in history this is a place where you won’t be short of things to see and discover. To begin visit Agrigento, a city on the south west coast of the island, home to the ‘Valley of Temples’. Take a step back in time amongst the ancient Greek temples that remain, home to some of the largest outside Greece itself. Over on the east coast you will find Mount Etna, the tallest active volcano in Europe. Voted as one of the top ten things to do in Sicily on Tripadvisor, you can take walking tours, hikes, jeep safaris and more to explore this fascinating region.
If you take a flight to Sicily one thing that won’t disappoint is the food. The rich heritage means the cuisine has many influences, including Spanish and Greek but predominantly Italian. A famous export from the Island is Marsala wine, produced in the region surrounding the city of Marsala. Located on the far Western tip of the Island the city itself is centred around the Town Square, further out you will find sandy beaches to relax and unwind.
